Dear Friends, By the time you read this, I’ll have been dean of this great Law School for just over two years. Although we’ve faced more than our share of challenges, the past year was an absolute joy, because we were able to return to in-person teaching and learning.

Marin Smith 2L Receives Stearns-Shaw Scholarship
Marin Smith is the latest University of Wisconsin Law School student to be named a Stearns-Shaw Scholar. The scholarship was endowed by 1992 UW Law graduate Denis Stearns and his husband, Thomas Shaw, to encourage champions of the LGBTQ+ community to choose UW as the best place to study law and make a difference.
