Reunion: Back to Where It All Began
University of Wisconsin Law School Reunions continue to grow! Last fall, more than 300 alumni and friends, traveling from over a dozen states, made the trip back to Madison to kick off Homecoming weekend and celebrate with good food and drink, music, laughter and memories of their Law School days.
Law Badgers from all class years are invited to attend Reunions, but Dean Dan Tokaji gave a special toast to the milestone years ending in 0s and 5s.
He warmly welcomed the Class of 1975, celebrating its 50th Reunion with record attendance numbers.
Tokaji’s remarks focused on the lifelong ties that alumni have to the school, the strong sense of support for each other’s work and the invaluable relationships formed here.
An emotional moment of the night came when attendees rose to their feet to honor Bill Meyer ’53 (right).
Meyer returned to campus with his family to attend the Reunion on Friday evening and the Homecoming football game on Saturday. He told the Alumni Relations team that it had been many years since his last trip to Camp Randall.
“In 1944, while in the U.S. Navy, I was billeted in Camp Randall while in radio school at the university,” he said. “While in law school, I lived within a block.”
We are already looking ahead to Reunion 2026, taking place in early October!
